Zuni New Coral & Sterling Silver Petite Cuff Bracelet
This bracelet, just cleared pawn last Monday. The owner of the pawn shop called me
and told me it was ready for me to buy. It was never made for the tourist trade, buy
to be worn as a symbol of wealth for the owner. This fantastic bracelet, and it is
nothing short of fantastic is massive to say the least. It weighs in a little over 130
grams total weight alone. It measures about 1-3/4" in height alone and about 5-5/8"
on the inside of the band with an additional 1" opening space , giving you a total
wrist size of about 6-5/8"m which is NOT adjustable, as you would damage all the
incredible stone work. There are three distinctive rows of stone work, the top row ,
being about 1/2" in height with Red Coral, M.O.P., onyx, Turquoise, Spiny Oyster , 17
small pettie point Turquoise , each topped with a small silver ball, and three large
silver balls. Then, there is some very fine silver twisted rope work which is beyond
belief. Next row down is about 1/4" tall with 21 small rounds of Turquoise, each set
in saw tooth bezels. Finally , the bottom row which is about 3/4" high, done in
various colors of Heshie Beads. All the stones appear to be tight, which no
noticeable cracks of any kind. Marked "G" on the reverse for the maker. The
Navajo that made this, had a lot of patience when making this incredible inlay
bracelet. This would have taken several weeks to make up with very tedious labor,
which could only have been a labor of Love. MH-775

| This is one of Effie's newest creations, and as you can tell, I buy all I can afford of her pieces. I just bought so , much I will need to sell my house to pay for it all. Oh Well ! This beautiful bracelet is about 1/4'' wide and measures about 5-1/2'' on the inside of the band with an additional 1-1/8'' opening , which will give you a total wrist size of about 6-5/8''. The stones are like this, all about 1/8'' x 3/8'' in size, of which 3 are Turquoise and two are Red Corral. And of course the 4 small buttons of Turquoise that form both Snakes eye's and wrap around all of her stone settings , which is in her normal style. Signed by her on the reverse as she always does. bracelet made by Navajo Artist "Shakey" who as you can see by the
pictures makes very nice jewelry. This bracelet is fairly heavy as it
weighs in right at 23 grams. It is about 5/16'' wide containing 5
stones of Turquoise of which I am sure they are stabilized as about
90% or more is too make it workable. The stones are about 1/4'' in
diameter each and set in high or protruding saw tooth bezels. Very
nice workmanship. Bracelet measures about 5-5/8'' on the inside of
the band with an additional 1-1/4'' opening, giving you a wrist size
of about 6-7/8'' total. Can easily be adjusted by bending the band ,
being very careful not to bend under the mounted stones. Comes

American Zuni Effie Calavaza. Effie has been making jewelry for 40
years and this is one of her very fine and distinctive examples.

Zuni Made-Charoite Stone Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet
This incredible bracelet is made of Charoite in a free-form design
and looks like you can dive in and go swimming it it. It is made by
the Zuni Indians over in Zuni New Mexico, where I accidentally just
stumbled upon it. It is impressive to say the least. The stone itself
is about 1-1/8'' at the widest and about 1-1/4'' at the longest. Set in a
silver band border which in turn is set into a rope twist outer
bezel. Marked "J.O" which is the maker and SS for Sterling Silver .
Measures about 5-5/8'' on the inside of the band against the actual
band and not dropped against the bezel with an additional 1''
opening giving you a total wrist size of about 6-5/8''. Now, this type
of bracelet easily lends itself to adjustment, by very carefully
bending the band either open or closed to make a more
comfortable fit. Bought from the Zuni Indians on the Zuni
Reservation in New Mexico just yesterday. Only one I could find at

Indians living and working on the Zuni Reservation in New
Mexico. It it made of Sterling Silver and Red Corral and features
11 small polished pieces of beautiful deep red Med. Corral. Each
measures avg about 1/4" tall by about 1/8" wide. The overall
width of the band is about 3/8" wide and measures about 5-1/2"
on the inside of the band with an additional 1-1/2" opening. Total
of 7" now, but can be adjusted very easily as long as you don't
